Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 480 Walkthrough
Dismantle the pixel cottage by clearing perimeter foliage and sky before opening the house structure. Coordinate linked boxes so they have room in the five slots. Keep slots free by exposing roof and wall tiles before calling matching boxes.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 480 — full solution
- Tap the Beige 30 box, Green 42 box, and Purple 30 box from the front row of the stack. Their ants clear the lower path, front lawn, and the outer garden fence, freeing up the front row.
- Tap the linked Blue 30 and Blue 54 pair exposed in the second row, along with the adjacent Purple 30 box. The blue ants begin peeling the large sky background while purple ants strip the outer walls.
- Send in the White 40 box from row 1, the Dark Green 32 box from row 1, and the linked Beige and Yellow pair once space permits. This strips the window frames and lower pathway, leaving two slots free.
- Tap the Cyan 40 box and White 22 box to clear remaining sky corners and chimney trim, then activate the Green 26 box and Red 33 box to target the trees and roof edge.
- Tap the Green 40 boxes and Dark Blue 12 box from the front of the stack. They remove foliage around the roofline and remaining sky patches, exposing the inner roof and wall layers.
- Deploy the Beige 46 box and Red 40 box to take down the cottage roof and chimney bricks as the supporting structures become exposed.
- Tap the Beige 25 box, Green 25 box, and Brown 24 box to clear the front porch, door, and trunk elements, bringing the picture down to minimal wall remnants.
- Tap the Purple 1 box and Brown 2 box in the final row. They pick up the last lingering pixels of the wall and doorway to clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Red 40 box before the sky and upper tree branches are cleared → Red tiles form the roof interior and chimney core, so red ants have no exposed targets and jam a slot.
- Deploying the linked Blue 30 and Blue 54 pair without at least two open slots → Linked boxes require simultaneous bay placement and will fail to deploy or block necessary single boxes.
Quick tips for Level 480
- Clear picture borders and outer sky early to expose the inner layers of the building and trees.
- Keep track of linked box pairs in the stack and ensure you leave two adjacent slots available before releasing them.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows a country house with a red-brown roof, purple walls, green trees, white fence, and cyan sky. Below the nest sits a five-slot bay above a multi-row stack containing single, linked, and mystery boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks from the house scene by matching ant boxes from the stack to exposed perimeter colors.
- Opening
- Begin with the front-row Beige 30, Green 42, and Purple 30 boxes. These colours are fully exposed along the bottom path, lawn, and fence, giving immediate progress and clearing buffer space.
- Trap
- The Red boxes in the mid-stack can stall easily if summoned early because the red roof tiles are shielded by the surrounding sky and tree blocks.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes must enter the slots together, requiring two vacant slots simultaneously before either can be tapped.
Level 480 questions
-
How do I handle the linked Blue boxes on Level 480?
Wait until you have at least two empty slots, then tap either linked box to send both into play together to strip the sky.
