Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping inner face colours like Beige 38 too early → beige pixels are completely trapped behind white and brown outlines, leaving the beige box stuck in a slot.

Quick tips for Level 442

  • Prioritise the Light Blue and White boxes first because they occupy the bottom and perimeter of the portrait.
  • Only call Brown and Black boxes once the white framing blocks have exposed the outer edges of the hair and beard.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture depicts a bearded character on a grid of 160 blocks. Beneath the nest sits a five-slot bay, with a tiered stack of ant boxes arranged in rows of four below it.
Goal
Clear all 160 blocks from the portrait using ant boxes from the stack without letting all five slots jam.
Opening
Begin with the Light Blue 28 box already active, followed by White 40 and Brown 25, which immediately target exposed perimeter blocks on the body.
Trap
The Beige 38 and Beige 32 boxes cannot act until outer layers of hair, beard, and shirt are removed; tapping beige prematurely clogs a valuable slot.
Mechanic
Ants only harvest exposed outer pixels of their respective colour; inner pixels remain inaccessible until surrounding layers are carried off.

Level 442 questions
