Level 331 features a Norwegian flag design partially obstructed by a chocolate block and a central crate. Focus on stripping the outer red border to expose the white cross before deploying black ants. Avoid summoning black ant boxes early while the inner cross is still buried.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 331 — full solution
- Tap the Red 15 box in the front row, far right. Its ants target exposed red pixels along the outer edge while earlier ant streams chip away at the 112 chocolate obstacle and the central crate.
- Tap the Red 15 box in the front row, far left, Black 18 in column 2, and Red 20 in column 3 in any order. The red ants rapidly dissolve the outer perimeter, completely clearing the 112 chocolate block and exposing inner layers.
- Tap the Red 16 box in the front row, far right, followed by the linked Red 16 and Red 15 pair from the second row. They funnel red ants into the remaining perimeter quadrants, advancing the center crate counter down to 30.
- Tap the newly revealed White 20 box in the front row, far left, into the fifth slot. White ants swarm the exposed white cross outlines surrounding the central emblem, reducing the center crate from 30 down to 18.
- Tap the front row Red 15 box and the revealed Red 20 box in any order. Their ants clear the remaining red corners, allowing slots to cycle through Red 19, Black 1, White 4, and White 7 while shattering the central crate completely.
- Tap the Black 15 box in the front row, left, and the Black 16 box in the front row, right, into the open slots. Black ants sweep across the fully exposed inner cross to carry away the final blocks and finish the level.

- Tapping Black 18 in the opening phase → the inner black cross is completely covered by red blocks, white outlines, and obstacles, causing Black 18 to stall in a slot and choke buffer space.
- Sending White 20 into a slot before the outer red border is cleared → white blocks remain largely buried, leaving the white ant box inactive in a slot.

- Prioritize clearing red boxes first; red forms the entirety of the flag's outer border and provides guaranteed ant targets.
- Keep black ant boxes in the stack until the white cross framing the inner cross has been sufficiently stripped.
