How to beat Colony Flow! Level 312 — full solution
- Tap the front Purple 20 box and the linked Red 15 pair from the front of the stack. Ants start clearing the purple outer border and opening the edges of the flag.
- Send the White 20 box and another Purple 20 box into the slots. The ants carry away the lower outer purple blocks and begin chipping away at the white southern cross stars.
- Tap the revealed Red 15 box, White 15 box, and Purple 26 box as earlier boxes empty out. This strips the bottom field and breaks through the crate lock at the top-left canton.
- Deploy the remaining Red 15 box and Purple 20 boxes into the newly freed slots. The ants remove the red stripes of the Union Jack and clear the majority of the purple field.
- Tap the Red 22 box and front Purple 26 box. Ants carry away the central red canton crosses and the surrounding purple clusters, freeing up the top-left area.
- Release the final Purple 20 boxes and White boxes in any order. The remaining purple border and white star fragments are carried into the nest to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping multiple Red boxes before the purple outer layer is cleared → Red crosses are buried inside the flag, causing Red boxes to stall in the slots and trigger a deadlock.
- Ignoring the locked White crate at the upper-left → Tapping White boxes before the crate counter hits zero leaves white ants with limited targets, blocking valuable slots.
Quick tips for Level 312
- Strip the outer Purple boundary first to expose the embedded White stars and the Union Jack details.
- Keep at least one slot open at all times when handling linked boxes, as they occupy two slots simultaneously.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts the Australian flag with a large Purple field, White stars, a Red and White Union Jack canton, and a locked 25-block crate in the upper left. Five empty slots sit above a three-column stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Remove every block from the flag picture by sending matching ant boxes into the five slots.
- Opening
- Start with the front Purple boxes to clear the exposed outer field blocks, creating exposed edges for the inner White and Red elements.
- Trap
- The Red 15 and Red 22 boxes stall if deployed before the outer Purple and White layers around the Union Jack canton are peeled away.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes send two connected boxes into the slots at the same time upon tapping, requiring two free slots.
