How to beat Colony Flow! Level 273 — full solution

  1. Tap Dark Green 11 (front row, far left), Light Green 40 (front row, second from left), and Orange 40 (front row, middle). These start eating the bottom frame border and lower lily pad foliage, using three slots.
  2. Tap Cyan 25 (front row, second from right), which tethers to Cyan 40 directly below it. Tap Light Blue 35 (revealed in row 2, second from left) to fill the remaining slots as the ants strip cyan water and border edges.
  3. When Dark Green 11 clears, tap Dark Green 40 into the newly opened slot. As Orange 40 finishes, tap Yellow 50 into the freed slot to continue eating through the checkered frame.
  4. Once Cyan 25 finishes counting down, allow linked Cyan 40 to enter the slot. Tap Green 28 (front row, second from left) to strip the exposed frog base and lower body blocks.
  5. As Light Blue 35 and Green 28 empty their slots, tap Light Green 40 (front row, far left) and Yellow 25 (second row, far right) to harvest the frog belly and remaining border.
  6. Tap the linked Red 50 and Red 4 pair (middle-right of the stack) followed by Orange 39. Their ants target the flower cores and remaining frame sections.
  7. Tap Light Blue 40, Cyan 30, and Dark Green 45 in any order into the freed slots. These ants carve away the upper background and the outer shape of the frog's head.
  8. Tap Light Green 25 and Cyan 20 from the stack. They collect the final frog skin and background pixels, emptying all slots and clearing the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the linked Cyan 25 pair before cyan water blocks are exposed → Cyan 25 and Cyan 40 occupy slots without harvesting blocks, clogging your limited queue space.
  • Opening Red 50 early before the flower cores are uncovered → Red blocks remain shielded behind white petals, leaving the red box stuck in a slot.

Quick tips for Level 273

  • Prioritise clearing the outer yellow and orange frame early to expose deeper layers of the frog and lily pad.
  • Always account for linked pairs requiring space; do not tap a linked box if fewer than two slots will be free soon.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A framed pixel portrait of a green frog sitting on a lily pad with white and red flowers, surrounded by a light blue and cyan sky with a checkered border. Beneath the picture sits a single nest hole and five holding slots above a multi-row stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Clear all blocks from the pixel picture by assigning matching ant boxes to the five slots until the entire frog portrait and frame are emptied.
Opening
Tap Dark Green 11, Light Green 40, and Orange 40 from the front row to begin eating away the lower border and lily pad edges while keeping slots open.
Trap
Tapping linked Cyan 25 and Cyan 40 or high-count boxes before their colours are exposed on the picture edges can clog the five slots and cause a deadlock.
Mechanic
Vertically linked boxes share a tether line; tapping the front box pulls it into a slot, while the linked box enters as soon as a slot becomes available.

Level 273 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 273?

Start by tapping Dark Green 11, Light Green 40, and Orange 40 from the front row to clear the bottom border and expose inner colours.

  • How do the linked Cyan boxes work on Level 273?

Tapping Cyan 25 sends it into a slot, holding the tether to Cyan 40 underneath, which automatically enters the next available slot.
