Clear the border greenery and flowers to uncover the hedgehog's face and background sky. Work through the front layers to expose keys and unlock tied boxes.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 258 — full solution
- Tap the Green 35 and Green 22 boxes in the front row. Their ants strip the outer grass framing the bottom of the picture.
- Tap the Dark Green 35 box and the Light Green 30 box in the front row. Their ants remove the remaining grass borders.
- Tap the Beige 32 box on the far right of the front row, then the Orange 25 box in row 2. They begin picking up petals from the side flowers.
- Tap the White 18 box to carry away the white daisy petals surrounding the hedgehog.
- Tap the Brown 10 box and the Brown 53 box. Their ants dig into the hedgehog's outer spiky quills.
- Tap the Cyan 30 box and Cyan 16 box to clear the bright sky blocks at the top.
- Tap the Black 30 box to collect the eyes, nose, and dark outline details on the hedgehog.
- Tap the linked Pink 25 and Pink 10 pair. Their ants carry away the inner cheeks and face blocks, clearing the entire board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the linked Pink 25 and Pink 10 boxes early → pink blocks form the hedgehog's inner face and are completely surrounded, locking two slots until the outer layers clear.

- Focus on stripping the green grass at the base first to expose keys and clear flower petals.
- Linked boxes require two empty slots simultaneously, so keep slots open before triggering them.

- The Pink boxes at the bottom of the stack are linked and face blocks are fully buried behind quills and flowers; opening pink too early will stall slots.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes enter slots together as a pair and require two free slots. Certain boxes also require freeing colour keys from the picture before unlocking.
