How to beat Colony Flow! Level 177 — full solution

  1. Tap the Light Blue 40 box (front row, middle) and Dark Purple 40 box (front row, right). Light Blue ants strip the top and side borders while Dark Purple ants remove the outer ear blocks, leaving three slots free.
  2. Tap the White 64 box (front row, right), the White 63 box behind it, and the Black 40 box (front row, left). White ants start removing the outer white face fur as the light blue frame recedes, filling all five slots.
  3. Allow Dark Purple 40 and White 23 to finish, then tap Dark Purple 62 (front row, right) and Red 30 (front row, middle). Dark Purple ants finish the ears while Red enters the queue waiting for the chest area to open.
  4. As the first Light Blue box depletes, tap the uncovered Light Blue 44 box (front row, middle). Light Blue ants continue peeling away border tiles to free the green key at the top edge.
  5. Send the uncovered White 40 box (front row, right) into an open slot. White ants clear tiles adjacent to the central chest and collect the keys, leaving the chest fully exposed to break.
  6. Wait as the 20-hit wooden chest breaks open and vanishes, exposing the red scarf beneath. The Red box counts down toward Red 18 as red ants swarm the scarf, opening up two center slots.
  7. Tap the linked Pink 44 and Pink 42 boxes from the lower stack into the two open slots together. Pink ants dismantle the remaining pink base row at the bottom of the board.
  8. Tap the Black 40 box and Dark Purple 38 box from the front row into the remaining slots. Black ants carry away the eye patches and nose outlines until the board is completely clear.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Red 30 into a slot right at the start → Red blocks in the scarf are buried behind the chest and outer border, leaving the box stalled in a slot.
  • Tapping the linked Pink boxes before having two open slots → Linked boxes require two free slots simultaneously, causing an instant overflow if only one slot is open.

Quick tips for Level 177

  • Strip the outer Light Blue border first to expose the embedded keys and create edges for the White and Dark Purple ants.
  • Keep at least two slots free when approaching linked boxes in the lower stack rows so they can deploy together.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel-art panda face centers around a locked 20-hit chest, enclosed by a Light Blue perimeter and a Pink base row. Beneath the nest hole sit five slots above a 3-column stack.
Goal
Clear all coloured tiles from the picture, collect the embedded keys, and break open the 20-hit chest without jamming the five available slots.
Opening
Tap Light Blue 40 from the front-middle and Dark Purple 40 from the front-right. Both colours are immediately exposed on the outside edges and begin clearing immediately.
Trap
Deploying Red 30 or the linked Pink pair too early stalls a slot indefinitely, because their target blocks remain buried behind the outer borders and the central chest.
Mechanic
The wooden chest requires 20 nearby hits and embedded key collections to open, which reveals the red scarf and inner face details beneath it.

Level 177 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 177?

Tap Light Blue 40 and Dark Purple 40. Their blocks form the outer edges and ears, making them immediately safe to work on.

  • Why is Red 30 stuck in my slot?

Red blocks only exist in the scarf behind the 20-hit chest. Do not tap Red until the chest is broken and the scarf is exposed.
