How to beat Colony Flow! Level 106 — full solution

  1. Tap the Yellow 50 box in the first slot row, followed by the Yellow 22, Yellow 38, and Yellow 35 boxes from the stack front row in any order. The yellow ants strip the thick yellow border framing the cat portrait.
  2. Send the Light Blue 35 box from the stack front row and the Black 50 box into open slots. The black ants clear exposed dark outline pixels along the cat's outer perimeter, while light blue begins targeting the outer ear tips.
  3. Tap the White 35 and White 30 boxes as they reach the front row, along with the Black 30 and Black 20 boxes. The ants strip exposed white edge whiskers and chin segments, freeing up slots as the numbers run out.
  4. Move the Light Blue 5 and Light Blue 25 boxes into slots alongside the Pink 30 and Pink 22 boxes. The pink ants begin harvesting the exposed outer edges of the cat's inner ears and paw pads.
  5. Tap the Yellow 18 box to remove remaining yellow forehead accents, and the Black 33 and Black 20 boxes to strip the dark boundaries surrounding the cat's eyes.
  6. Deploy the Light Green 31 box and Light Green 9 box to dismantle the exposed green cat eyes. Follow with the Pink 14 box to finish clearing the inner ear details.
  7. Send the remaining Light Blue 40 and Light Blue 38 boxes to clean up the forehead fur pattern. Light blue ants remove all remaining cyan blocks across the head.
  8. Tap the White 51 and White 43 boxes along with Black 28 and Black 8 boxes to finish the cat's muzzle, central nose patch, and remaining black eye outlines.
  9. Deploy the White 35 box and any remaining Black and Light Blue ants in the slots to carry off the final white muzzle blocks and conclude the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Light Green 31 box during the opening phase → green blocks are buried deep inside the cat's eyes behind dark outlines, so the box remains stuck in a slot for half the level.
  • Sending the Pink 30 box before clearing the outer black ears → pink pixels cannot be reached until the dark borders framing the ears are removed.

Quick tips for Level 106

  • Peel the portrait from outside in: strip yellow background blocks first to expose the cat's dark silhouette.
  • Wait until the black eye borders are carried away before deploying green boxes, ensuring green ants immediately reach the irises.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A square pixel canvas displays a cat face framed by yellow borders. Below the nest hole sit 5 empty slots, over a tiered stack with four columns of ant boxes.
Goal
Remove every coloured block from the cat portrait by deploying matching ant boxes into the 5 available slots without getting stuck.
Opening
The Yellow 50 box already sits in the leftmost slot. Tap the Yellow 22, Yellow 38, and Yellow 35 boxes from the front row to exhaustively clear the exterior yellow border.
Trap
The Light Green 31 box sits in the middle row of the stack; tapping it prematurely will lock a slot until the black eye borders and pupils are completely stripped.
Mechanic
Ants can only pick up exposed edge blocks of their color. If a box enters a slot while its color is completely enclosed, the slot remains blocked until the outer blocks are carried away.

Level 106 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 106?

Tap all the front yellow boxes immediately. The yellow blocks make up the entire outer border, allowing yellow ants to empty and leave the slots quickly.

  • Why are my green ants not moving on Level 106?

Green blocks form the cat's eyes and are completely enclosed by black outline blocks. Clear the black perimeter first to expose the green pixels.
